It was a sunny day in Belfast City. Everyone was out in the park having picnic and barbecue, sunning themselves while my fat-self went to the Continental Market in town.

There were a lot of food selections from freshly baked French Bread to Kangaroo Burgers to Sausages and Sweets. There were too much to choice from and my heart is just pumping blood with excitements!

It was lunch time when we got there and I was kinda hungry. The chicken seafood paella caught my eyes but too bad the dish was not yet ready and we had to wait for 10-15mins or so.

I walked about the place and found this Greek Booth selling Gyros.


I always wanted to try this thing. I know a friend who loves Gyros so much that makes me want to try. So here goes...

Hello World! Kimrara is so back! I have been wanting to write and update this blog for so long and finally here I am typing and thinking where to begin.

A lot of things happened and when I said a lot that means 'a lot'.  From 12 months of travel which I only managed to finished until 'April', May is still in my drafts. Oh what a shame! But lets just move on, forget about the past and let me take you to Northern Ireland!

It was my first time in Bacolod and I have no idea about this place except for the Masskara Festival which they are famous for.

We arrived at Bacolod Silay International Airport passed 10 in the morning with an empty stomach. The flight was good but the what happened prior to departure was another story.

Our colleague Jm, was a buzzer beater. We are already boarding when he arrived at the airport. Luckily, we already got his boarding pass ready. The whole situation got us all pressured we didnt expect he will make it. Thank goodness for the delayed flight and delayed bus transfer. He made it!


Anyway, when you browse to the web you'll see that one of the most suggested place to stay in Bacolod is the 11th Street Bed and Breakfast so we opt to took a reservation with them. We were travelling as a group (7 pax) so we initially booked for a family room but unfortunately all family rooms were fully booked. There are only 2 rooms available on our preferred date and good thing we still get a good deal.
We got 2 air conditioned rooms for only Php1100 good for 2 and additional Php300 per head. That was like Php400+ per head per night breakfast included. Pretty good deal!

Brace yourself for this one hell of itinerary I made for our Bacolod Iloilo Guimaras trip. I didnt know we can pull this off nakakapagod but it was all worth it. Three provinces in 5 days! Hell yeah! How to get there : --By commuting (van)

1. Take a van going to Calatagan. The terminal is near the Kabayan Hotel at the EDSA-Taft MRT Station. Fare is Php 180 per person.
2. Ask to be let down at the Calatagan market. Take a tricycle to Burot Beach. Fare is PHP 50 per person.

This trip will not be forgotten, not because of how elnido captured our hearts but because we missed our flights twice! Can you believe that?

• Either you stay in one of the hotels across the mainland in Brgy. Uacon for accommodation and have the bangkero drop you off and fetch you by nightfall. (Potipot is just a 5-10 minutes ride from the mainland.

• Go camping in the island and have the bangkero fetch you the next day. In this option, you can enjoy sleeping under the stars as Potipot is regarded as a virgin island—no electricity, no major infrastructures or hotels.
